I have found five delightful holiday treats that will blow your guests’ minds, and not your budget! These are five holiday treats that you can give as gifts, or bring to a holiday party!

1. Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge!

Multi-purpose your peanut butter with this unbeatable fudge recipe and the peanut butter balls recipe!

2. Peanut Butter Balls! 

3. Chocolate coated….ANYTHING!

Make double-use of your candy coating chocolate pieces by making peanut butter balls AND dipping your favorite snacks in chocolate to make exquisite holiday treats! Pretzels, cookies, fruits (i.e. strawberries, oranges, kiwis and pineapples) are all deliciously appealing after being dipped in festive chocolate coating!

4. Banana Bread!

Got browning bananas? Don’t throw them away! Use them in this delicious banana bread recipe! 

5. Fruity Jam! 


1 – Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Pour 3 cups sugar; 1 stick butter (4 tablespoons); 2/3 cups evaporated milk into medium saucepan. *Cook and stir in a medium saucepan until boiling. Stir continuously. After boiling, time exactly 5 minutes. Make sure fudge does not stick to saucepan. Continue to stir quickly. Then, add:  1.5 – 2 cups peanut butter; 7 – 10 ounces of fluff; and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in these ingredients. Pour into greased pan. Cool in refrigerator. 

2. Peanut Butter Balls

2 cupscrushed graham crackers; 2 sticks butter melted (8 tablespoons); 1 cup peanut butter; 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 2 tablespoons vegetable oil; 1, 12 ounce package of chocolate chips, or candy melting chips. “Mix the first five ingredients, roll into balls. Melt the chocolate chips, dip peanut butter balls into chocolate, place on wax paper to cool.

3. Chocolate coated…ANYTHING! Melt chocolate candy pieces, dip your treat into the chocolate, allow to cool on wax paper! 

4. Banana Bread

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 9x5x3 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1.5 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg. Make a well in center of flour mixture. In a medium blow, mix 2 eggs, 5 medium ripe, mashed bananas, 1 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup oil. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Fold in 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional). Spoon batter into pans. Bake 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
